Rob says: The BOMBA DE FRUTA coffee is becoming a yearly tradition at Caffenation. After a side jump to Honduras last summer, we are now back at its original origin, Colombia. 

This year’s Bomba is coming from a different region than before, being Antioquia.
It has always been a region where farmers take things seriously and after buying previous lots produced by Saldarriaga, we are very happy to have a fruity coffee from his hands on offer again. 

Producing natural coffees comes with great risk for local producers, as they cannot sell this coffee at the local market. The National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC) buys all washed coffee in Colombia which meets their quality standards. The quality of this coffee is at such a high level, that we are more than happy to pay a price way above FNC or Fairtrade prices.
