Rob says: In our annual coffee pilgrimage to Kenya, we encounter numerous varieties, amassing a wealth of names over the years. Occasionally, we come across unfamiliar names, even stumping the exporting company. SEIYOT is one such discovery – an exceptional coffee from the lesser-known region of Mount Elgon. Despite its obscurity, its quality compelled us to make the purchase. Interestingly, Mount Elgon is one of the few regions where we source two origin coffees, one from the Kenyan side and one from the Ugandan side known as Bulambuli. While both are commendable, SEIYOT stands out with its crisp, acidic notes and pristine quality.
