Our 2024 X-Mas Coffees.

Our 2024 X-Mas Coffees.

Here we are with our annual Christmas coffees! This year, like last, we're proud to offer two exceptional washed lots. Instead of separate roasts for filter and espresso, these versatile coffees are switch-roasted to excel in both brewing methods, delivering great taste no matter how you use or drink them.

We do start with the Colombian DAVID DAGUA on Filter Roast.

  • Balanced cup
  • Light hibiscus acidity
  • Almond, blue prune & chocolate

Region: Planadas, Tolima

Altitude: 2000 masl

Variety: Pink Bourbon

Processing: Washed

Importer: Osito

Rob says: We’re thrilled to offer coffee from DAVID DAGUA, known for his Geisha and Pink Bourbon varieties. Pink Bourbon, the latest buzz in coffee, is less floral than Geisha but equally clean and fruity, and for only half the price. So we remain loyal to our motto: Caffè for the People.

Despite David’s global popularity in recent years, there’s still some mystery around him. What we do know is his unique processing method: cherries are fermented for 18 hours, depulped, then fermented for another 35 hours, followed by 25 days of drying.

And for Espresso the (already known) Ethiopian BUKU SAYISA:

  • Medium acidity
  • Earl grey & rosehip tea
  • Wild forest fruit

Regio: Hambela Wamena, Guji

Processing: Washed

Variety: Heirloom

FOB (export price): USD 8,38/kg

Importer: Nordic Approach

Rob says: This lot is from BUKU, a district of Hambela Wamena in the broader Guji Zone. Buku is one of the highest elevated coffee growing areas in Ethiopia with an altitude of 2350 metres above sea level.

We bought two washed Buku lots this year. Our biggest is a grade 2 Peaberry lot than goes into our green Mister LGB bags and then you have this 600 kilo grade 1 Sayisa lot, meaning ‘Blessed Valley’. They are both great but strangely enough reasonably different in taste. Why don’t you test it for yourself?

Both coffees are available in our bars and online.

€13,5 for a 250 grams bag and € 52 for kilo's.

For companies who order online we ask to visit our Caffenationpro.be site. We have wholesale prices for those ordering as a company.

Enjoy the coffees and from our roastery team we wish you all a Merry Christmas.
