Rob says: Tucked away in the village (or kebele) of CHELCHELE, in the district (woreda) of Kochere, right in the heart of Yirgacheffe, you’ll find the Chelchele washing station—quite the tongue twister, but even better in the cup. Washed Chelchele coffees are known for their sweet backbone, think toffee and soft almond, lifted by bright floral notes and a splash of citrus.

Of all Ethiopian regions, Yirgacheffe is our go-to for that elegant, tea-like and floral profile. It’s been part of the Caffenation story since day one in 2003—and it’s still going strong.
