Rob says: After visiting the country myself and buying Colombian specialty coffees for over a decade you think you’ve seen it all. And then comes this coffee under the name ‘Embrujo Caldas’. A mid season crop offer out of a region you never buy from and with a taste unfamiliar for the country of Colombia.
When you take the first slurp it grabs you by the balls (sorry ladies). You taste a lot of things but what strikes most is the surprising acidity for a natural processed coffee, mainly red berry, that combines will with the other juicy and fruity flavors in your cup. I see this as an ideal coffee to marry plant based drinks, but also straight forward black, either on espresso or filter.
